We are supporting a leading technology consultancy in recruiting an experienced Data Platform Architect / Snowflake Architect to lead the architecture and development of enterprise-scale Snowflake platforms across complex client environments.

This is not simply a Snowflake migration or administration role. We're specifically looking for someone who has designed and built a company's Snowflake data platform from the ground up within a client-facing product or programme environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Architect and deliver enterprise-scale Snowflake data platforms
• Take ownership of Snowflake architecture from initial design through to production
• Design scalable, secure and resilient cloud data architectures
• Define platform architecture, standards, patterns and technical roadmaps
• Build data ingestion, transformation and integration architectures
• Design data models, pipelines and data products within Snowflake
• Integrate Snowflake with wider cloud, application and analytics ecosystems
• Lead technical decision-making across complex client programmes
• Work closely with Data Engineers, Cloud Engineers, Security Architects and senior stakeholders
• Ensure platforms meet requirements around security, governance, performance and scalability
• Provide architectural leadership throughout delivery Experience Required
• Extensive experience within Data / Platform Architecture
• Deep hands-on expertise with Snowflake
• Demonstrable experience architecting and building a Snowflake platform from the ground up
• Must have delivered a Snowflake platform within a client product / client-facing programme, rather than solely supporting an existing environment
• Strong understanding of modern cloud data platform architecture
• Data modelling, data warehousing and data integration expertise
• Experience designing scalable ETL/ELT and data pipeline architectures
• Strong understanding of data security, governance and access controls
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
• Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills
• Previous consultancy / client-facing delivery experience highly desirable Security Clearance
