Cyber Business Analyst (Contract)

£500-£600 per day | Outside IR35 | Hybrid - London


We're seeking an experienced Cyber Business Analyst to support a cyber transformation programme, helping define and improve cybersecurity services, governance, operating models, and processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and document business and security requirements.
  • Define cybersecurity services, operating models, and service ownership.
  • Create RACI matrices, process maps, and governance documentation.
  • Facilitate workshops with Security, Technology, Risk, and Business stakeholders.
  • Analyse current processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support the delivery of cyber initiatives and organisational change.


Experience Required

  • Proven Business Analyst experience within Cyber Security.
  • Strong experience with RACI frameworks, governance, and operating model design.
  • Excellent process mapping and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working on cyber transformation or security improvement programmes.


Desirable

  • Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, CAF, or Cyber Essentials.
  • Experience across SOC, IAM, Vulnerability Management, Risk & Compliance, or Cloud Security.


This role would suit a BA who enjoys bringing structure, accountability, and clarity to cybersecurity functions within complex organisations.
