Business Analyst - SAP Signavio

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support business process analysis and transformation within a complex heavy manufacturing/construction environment.

The role will combine business process modelling, SAP Signavio and digital transformation experience, working closely with the LOR Digital Delivery team, process owners and business SMEs.

The immediate focus will be on developing a robust Level 4 view of the business, with particular emphasis on identifying and documenting exceptions, variations and unhappy path processes that are often missed from traditional process mapping.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and take ownership of the existing process baseline and SAP Signavio repository.
• Assess the quality and completeness of the existing Level 2-4 process hierarchy.
• Identify process gaps, exceptions, variations, workarounds and unhappy paths.
• Progress priority processes through to Level 4.
• Facilitate workshops with business SMEs and process owners to validate processes.
• Develop and maintain process models within SAP Signavio.
• Establish and apply appropriate process modelling standards and governance.
• Manage the process backlog and prioritisation.
• Provide clear reporting on progress, decisions, risks, issues and gaps.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardisation and digital transformation.

Essential Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst/Business Process Analyst.
• Strong business process modelling and analysis experience.
• Experience within heavy manufacturing, construction, engineering or a similarly complex operational environment.
• Experience working with SAP business processes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
• Ability to identify and document exceptions, variations and real-world process complexity, beyond the standard happy path .
• Experience developing or working with Level 2-4 process hierarchies.

Desirable Experience

• Hands-on experience with SAP Signavio.
• Experience in a digital transformation or technology delivery environment.
• Experience establishing process governance and modelling standards.
• Experience identifying opportunities for automation, simplification and process optimisation.

Ideal Candidate

A hands-on Business Analyst who combines strong process modelling skills with practical operational experience. They should be comfortable working with SMEs, challenging existing process assumptions and translating complex business operations into clear, governed process models.

SAP Signavio experience within a manufacturing/construction environment would be highly advantageous.
