Senior Business Central Project Manager Contract | Outside IR35 | Remote at Opus Recruitment Solutions Ltd, South East England, 6 Months, £450 per day

We're supporting a UK-based group undergoing a significant Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Business Central Project Manager to lead delivery across multiple entities.

This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of a large-scale ERP programme involving Business Central, Legacy NAV migrations, data migration, integrations, testing, cutover and phased go-live delivery.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, finance teams, technical consultants and developers, you'll drive the programme forward, manage dependencies and ensure successful delivery across all phases of the implementation.

The Role You'll be responsible for:

• Leading the delivery of a multi-entity Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central programme
• Managing the migration from Legacy NAV environments to Business Central SaaS
• Owning project plans, timelines, risks, issues and dependencies
• Coordinating data migration, testing and cutover activities
• Managing third-party suppliers, consultants and technical resources
• Working closely with finance and operational stakeholders to ensure business readiness
• Facilitating workshops, steering committees and governance meetings
• Driving successful phased go-lives and transition into BAU

What We're Looking For Essential

• Proven experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations
• Strong Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central background
• Multiple end-to-end ERP implementation projects delivered as Project Manager
• Experience managing complex data migration workstreams
• Integration project delivery experience
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing third-party suppliers and delivery partners
• Excellent governance, RAID and reporting experience

Highly Desirable

• NAV to Business Central migration experience
• Multi-company or multi-entity implementation experience
• Retail, logistics, distribution or service sector experience
• Experience working within both end-user and Microsoft Partner environments
• Understanding of Power BI and wider Microsoft technology stack
