Security Framework & Controls SME

A global organisation requires a Contract Security Framework & Controls SME who has experience designing, developing and implementing Security Control frameworks.

• Day Rate: £600-£700pd
• IR35 Status: Outside
• Duration: Initial 10 weeks (scope to extend further)
• Travel: Remote

Responsibilities:

• Develop and define the next level of security controls beneath the organisation's existing information security policies and standards, translating high level requirements into clear, practical and implementable controls that business units can apply consistently.
• Own controls mapping across security frameworks and standards, reviewing existing requirements and establishing the relationship between policies, standards, controls and compliance evidence. Experience across frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001 and wider regulatory/control frameworks is essential.
• Design technology agnostic controls for a complex global environment, ensuring they are practical, scalable and relevant across a large, federated organisation rather than being tied to specific technologies or implementations.
• Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to explain what controls are required, why they are needed and the implications of implementation, acting as a senior SME who can take ownership of the work with minimal direction.
