Contract Non-functional Test Engineer at Xpertise, Remote United Kingdom, 3 to 4 Months, £400-£450 per day

Contract Non functional/Performance Test Engineer | 3-4 Months | £400 - £450 pd | Outside IR35

I'm looking for experienced Performance/Non-Functional Engineers for an initial 3-4 month contract working on a complex enterprise Java platform.

This isn't a role for someone who simply runs performance scripts and reports the graphs - we're looking for technically strong engineers who can analyse results, identify bottlenecks and get to the root cause of performance issues.

Key experience:

• JMeter and/or Postman
• Strong SQL & database knowledge
• Grafana
• Performance analysis across distributed systems
• Strong technical/root-cause analysis skills
• Azure Log Analytics advantageous
• Java/development/DBA experience particularly useful

Most of the test Scripting is already complete, so the focus will be on execution, analysis, investigation and working with developers to resolve performance issues.

You'll need to be comfortable being given an outcome and trusted to deliver without hand-holding.
