Full-Stack Node.js / AWS Engineer - Greenfield Middle-Office Investment Transformation
- Location: London (1-2 day per week onsite)
- Day Rate: £600 Per day Outside IR35
- Duration: 6 Months + Extensions
We are currently supporting a leading FTSE 100 Wealth & Asset Management organisation in their search for an experienced AWS / TypeScript Integration Engineer to join a key integration and transformation programme.
This role is suited to a technically strong engineer with proven experience designing and delivering enterprise integrations within cloud-native environments. You will work closely with business stakeholders, third-party vendors, architects, and engineering teams to develop scalable, secure, and robust integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyse integration requirements from business and third-party stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and agree integration patterns and approaches.
- Design end-to-end integration solutions across multiple systems and platforms.
- Work alongside the Integration Manager to coordinate and support integration delivery activities.
- Present solutions within architecture review boards and technical governance forums.
- Develop and maintain BDD test scenarios using Cucumber.
- Support QA and end-to-end testing activities.
- Define deployment, migration, release, and cutover strategies for integration components.
- Ensure integration solutions align with enterprise architecture and security standards.
Required Technical Skills:
- Backend Development: TypeScript, Node.js
- Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS, Terraform
- AWS Services: API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, Kubernetes
- Testing: Cucumber, Mockito
