Network & Cloud Infrastructure Consultant - 1 month Contract (SOW) - Outside IR35 - Remote (Ad-hoc travel to Central London)

We are looking for an experienced Network & Cloud Infrastructure Consultant to deliver a fixed-scope engagement supporting deployment of a quantum computing platform into a London-based innovation lab, covering design, implementation, testing, documentation, and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Layer 2/3 network architecture, including BGP routing where appropriate
• Implement MikroTik routing and GCP networking, including VPC, Firewalling, and IAM-aware access models
• Integrate and validate hybrid connectivity via Digital Realty ServiceFabric or equivalent
• Deploy and validate test rigs, supporting production deployment and commissioning
• Produce technical documentation, handover materials, and a final report

What You Will Ideally Bring

• Strong enterprise/datacentre networking background, deep in Layer 2/3, BGP, and Firewalling
• Hands-on GCP networking experience, including Partner Interconnect or equivalent
• MikroTik RouterOS experience or strong transferable Router configuration expertise
• Experience with hybrid connectivity platforms (ServiceFabric, Equinix Fabric, Megaport)
• Comfortable working independently against a fixed-scope Statement of Work

Contract Details

• Duration: Approximately 1 month (fixed-scope SOW)
• Day Rate: Up to £300
• Determination: Outside IR35
• Location: Remote, ad-hoc travel to Central London when required
