Senior Project Manager - SaaS Platform Modernisation - Outside IR35 - at Exalto Consulting, Remote, 6 Months, £700 per day

My client are looking to recruit a Senior IT Project Manager with experience of working on large SaaS or Product-led modernisation programmes.

The Senior Project Manager will own end-to-end delivery management for one or more workstreams within the Platform Modernisation programme. They will provide the planning, governance, and stakeholder coordination infrastructure that allows engineering and product teams to move with speed and confidence, and will serve as the delivery accountability layer between the programme director and the execution team.

Essential experience:

-Demonstrated experience delivering complex, multi-workstream technology programmes in a product-led or SaaS environment.
-Strong track record managing delivery across cross-functional teams — product, engineering, data, and architecture — without direct line authority.
-Experience managing programmes with significant architectural or platform transformation components (eg Legacy retirement, platform consolidation, system migrations).
-Competent in dependency mapping and critical path management across parallel workstreams.
-Proven ability to produce high-quality governance materials and board-ready reporting.
-Experience operating in environments where alignment between senior stakeholders is an active part of the delivery challenge.
-Comfortable working across UK and North American time zones.

Desirable skills:

-Familiarity with commercial fintech, or enterprise SaaS platform businesses.
-Experience managing programmes that involved customer-facing product changes requiring adoption planning.
-Exposure to data platform initiatives (cloud data warehouses, lakehouse architecture, data governance) at a non-technical level.
-Experience working within a PMO-governed delivery environment
