Microsoft Platform owner - Outside IR35 Contract at CODA Technology Services, London Area, £Contract Rate

We’re looking for an experienced Microsoft Cloud Platform Owner to take full ownership of a global Microsoft cloud estate, covering Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and associated Azure services. This is a hands‑on role focused on governance, security, cost optimisation and driving platform adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the Microsoft 365 roadmap (Office, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive).
• Act as design authority for M365 governance, standards and configuration.
• Oversee Entra ID, Intune, identity services and Azure dependencies.
• Govern security, compliance, access and identity controls (Conditional Access, PIM).
• Drive standardisation, automation and user adoption.
• Manage demand intake and platform change governance.
• Lead licensing governance, optimisation and cloud cost management.
• Support migration and transformation across collaboration, identity and endpoints.

Experience Required

• Strong experience owning or governing Microsoft cloud platforms in large enterprises.
• Deep Microsoft 365 expertise, especially SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive and governance.
• Proven delivery/governance of M365 migrations.
• Solid understanding of cloud governance, security, compliance and licensing.
• Ideally experience with M365 licensing transformations (E3 → E5).
• Experience partnering with Architecture, Cyber, Infrastructure and Ops teams.
• Highly desirable: Entra ID, identity governance, Conditional Access.
• Advantageous: Intune and endpoint management governance.
