Synapri are looking to speak to experience IT M&A Project/Programme managers who are available for their next programme of work. This is coming onboard and supporting a Divestment / Carve-out piece looking for someone to manage the IT part of the Carve-out.

 

Within this role you will lead the technology workstream of a divestment/ carve-out, ensuring the business being separated can operate independently from day 1.

 

Within this role you will take ownership of the IT separation plan, coordinating across infrastructure, applications, data, security, integrations and business systems. This includes identifying shared technology and dependencies, defining what needs to be migrated, replicated, replaced or decommissioned, and managing delivery against key transaction milestones.

 

Duration: 6-months initial

Location: Remote with occasional travel to office (UK)

Pay rate: Outside IR35 (DOE)

 

Scope of responsibilities include:

  • Leading the IT carve-out/separation programme from planning through Day 1 and transition.
  • Assessing the existing technology landscape and identifying applications, infrastructure, data and integration dependencies between the parent and divested business.
  • Developing and managing the Technology Separation Plan and roadmap.
  • Coordinating workstreams covering ERP, CRM, HRIS, infrastructure, networks, identity/access, cybersecurity, data and integrations.
  • Managing Transition Service Agreements including defining requirements, tracking dependencies and planning TSA exit.
  • Working closely with business, IT, Finance, Legal, Security and external vendors/SIs.
  • Managing programme risks, dependencies, budgets, resources, governance and executive reporting.
  • Ensuring Day 1 operational readiness, followed by delivery of the longer-term standalone technology environment.
  • Managing data migration, system cutovers, testing and business readiness while minimising disruption to BAU.

 

You will need M&A/carve-out programme experience within a minimum of two environments with broad enterprise IT knowledge to understand how enterprise technology fits together, challenge technical teams and vendors, and drive multiple complex workstreams towards fixed transaction deadlines!
