Cloud Engineer - Outside IR35 - Remote

A client is looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to focus on the configuration of API Management solution.

The successful Azure Engineer will be responsible for supporting the deployment and configuration of Azure API management including Networking and security services, working closely with internal infrastructure and application team. In order to be suitable, you must be able to demonstrate hands on experience with the API Management solution, WAF and Azure Firewall.

Key Responsibilities of the Azure Cloud Engineer :

• Implement and maintain Azure API Management (APIM) services.

• Configure and manage Azure Firewall, including policies and rule collections, as part of APIM implementations.

• Deploy and support Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), Network Security Groups (NSGs), Route Tables and Private Endpoints.

• Maintain and support Azure Application Gateway and Web Application Firewall (WAF).

• Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure and security teams to deliver and support Azure services.

• Produce clear technical documentation and support knowledge transfer where required.

Essential Skills for the Azure Cloud Engineer:

\xc2\xb7 Must have strong experience implementing and supporting Azure API Management (APIM)

\xc2\xb7 Experience configuring and managing traffic flow using Azure Firewall.

\xc2\xb7 Must have strong understanding of VNets, VNet peering and NSGs

\xc2\xb7 Have experience implementing Azure Application Gateway and Web Application Firewall (WAF)

\xc2\xb7 Experience using Azure DevOps is desirable but not essential.

The Successful Azure Cloud Engineer will work remotely.
