Service Designer - Circa £450 per day outside ir35 - Remote - 5 week discovery with likely extension

My client is a global leading IT consultancy. They are on the hunt for a Service Designer with GDS experience to join a central government client of theirs.

• Must have GDS/gov.uk experience.
• Bonus points for interaction skills and being able to turn their hand to prototyping.

Key responsibilities

• Document as-is and to-be user journeys, including referral routes, user roles and key service touchpoints
• Create a draft service design blueprint describing the proposed end-to-end referral service, including referral process, organisation interactions and operational considerations
• Wireframing and prototyping (stretch)
• Support validation of the MVP based on known constraints and enablers
• Contriubte to a Discovery findings and recommendations report covering validated business requirements, user needs, operation constraints, expected volumes, risks and dependencies
• Contribute to the delivery roadmap for the subsequent phase(s)
