We're looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support and maintain secure, mission-critical environments within the Government and Defence sector. You'll play a key role in delivering resilient infrastructure solutions across complex Legacy estates while supporting ongoing technical improvements.

Core Infrastructure

• Windows Server (2012-2022)
• Active Directory, Group Policy & Identity Services
• VMware vSphere/ESXi
• Microsoft Exchange (On-Premises & Hybrid)
• DNS, DHCP & PKI
• Enterprise Storage (NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE)
• Backup & Recovery Technologies
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Linux Administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)

Networking & Security

• Cisco Networking Technologies
• Palo Alto, Check Point or Fortinet Firewalls
• Secure Remote Access Solutions
• Network Segmentation
• Privileged Access Management
• Zero Trust Security Principles

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience within Government, Defence, Aerospace, National Security or other highly regulated environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting highly secure and business-critical infrastructure.
• Ability to produce technical documentation and provide technical leadership.
