We're supporting a specialist Microsoft consultancy looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to take ownership of an existing Azure deployment platform while a key engineer transitions away.

This is a hands-on engagement focused on stabilising, troubleshooting and improving an established Azure DevOps environment that supports the deployment of a commercial SaaS solution.

You'll inherit an existing deployment platform with knowledge transfer available from the current team, before taking responsibility for restoring full automation and resolving deployment issues.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance Azure DevOps YAML pipelines
• Configure and manage self-hosted Azure DevOps build agents
• Deploy and manage Azure infrastructure using Bicep
• Troubleshoot Azure SQL/DACPAC deployment issues
• Configure Azure Key Vault integration and DevOps variable libraries
• Update deprecated Azure DevOps tasks, PowerShell modules and Azure components
• Validate end-to-end deployment pipelines
• Improve automation and reduce manual deployment activities
• Document the deployment process and support knowledge transfer
