Business Change Consultant at Hays, Multiple Locations, £Contract Rate

A well-established manufacturing and distribution business based in the South West area is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant to support a critical review and improvement programme. Having recently transitioned from to Business Central, the organisation is looking for independent expertise to assess the current environment and provide recommendations for future success.
Your new roleYou will be engaged on a 4-8 week contract to conduct an independent assessment of the organisation's Business Central environment, focusing primarily on the Financials and Manufacturing modules.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing the current Business Central implementation and existing configuration issues.
• Identifying root causes of system, process and integration challenges.
• Assessing the effectiveness of the current delivery partner and advising on future provider strategy.
• Recommending system improvements, reconfiguration requirements and development priorities.
• Reviewing the integration between Business Central and the e-commerce platform.
• Producing a clear, prioritised roadmap for remediation and ongoing improvement.
• Working closely with senior stakeholders.
• This is a hybrid role with some on-site presence required.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience delivering and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations.
• Strong understanding of Business Central, especially Financials and Manufacturing modules.
• Experience conducting system reviews, audits, troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Ability to independently assess existing environments and provide strategic recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience with e-commerce integrations would be highly advantageous.
