Senior Platform Engineer - AWS, Kafka, Kubernetes - Outside IR35 - Hybrid at Tech Talent ID, Manchester/remote, 6 Months, £550 per day

Senior Platform Engineer is required by this globally recognised business to help deliver a B2B platform from the ground up. In this greenfield role, you will lead the creation of a brand-new cloud platform and local development ecosystem. This foundation will empower external and internal developers to build scalable, media-focused applications seamlessly. You will have complete technical ownership over a modern, event-driven infrastructure using Kafka, AWS, and Kubernetes.

• Build, deploy, and maintain an automated cloud platform on AWS from the ground up.
• Design local development environments and self-service capabilities that allow developers to code and test efficiently.
• Implement high-throughput, decoupled microservices built completely around an event-driven architecture with Apache Kafka.
• Manage container orchestration across multiple environments using Kubernetes (EKS).
• Establish continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions
• Any specific full-stack environment work across Java, Springboot and React will be especially beneficial.
