SAP Implementation Manager/Programme Lead

We're looking for an experienced SAP ERP Implementation Manager/Programme Lead to join a major greenfield SAP transformation within the FMCG/Manufacturing sector.

This is a brand-new SAP implementation where you'll act as the critical link between the end client and a leading delivery partner, ensuring successful programme governance, stakeholder alignment, and delivery throughout the implementation lifecycle.

The initial focus will be on Finance and Warehouse-related SAP modules, making previous experience delivering these areas highly desirable.

The Role

As the Programme Lead, you'll be responsible for coordinating the implementation across multiple workstreams, ensuring business objectives are translated into successful technical delivery. You'll work closely with senior client stakeholders, systems integrators, and functional SAP consultants to drive the programme forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a large-scale SAP ERP implementation programme
• Act as the primary conduit between the client and implementation partner
• Manage programme governance, planning, risks, issues and dependencies
• Engage with executive stakeholders and business leadership
• Challenge delivery where appropriate whilst maintaining strong partner relationships
• Ensure milestones, budgets and programme objectives are achieved
• Support business readiness, change management and successful deployment

Experience Required

• Proven experience leading enterprise SAP ERP implementations
• Strong programme or implementation management background
• Previous experience working within FMCG or Manufacturing environments
• Experience delivering Finance and Warehouse-related SAP modules (ECC or S/4HANA)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Comfortable operating between technical delivery teams and senior business stakeholders
• Experience managing third-party Systems Integrators or delivery partners

Contract Details

• Outside IR35
• £750-£800 per day
• Initial 6-month contract with strong extension potential
• Hybrid working, with weekly on-site visits required at the client's East London offices
• Immediate or short notice candidates preferred
