Sanderson Recruitment is partnering with a client undertaking a major platform transformation programme. They are seeking an experienced QA Lead to take ownership of the end-to-end testing strategy, with a particular focus on validating data flows, data integrity and system behaviour between Salesforce and a bespoke platform. This is a highly hands-on role that combines technical leadership with direct delivery across the orchestration layer and multiple integration points.

The successful candidate will define the quality approach, build robust automation frameworks from the ground up using Cucumber, and establish effective API testing practices with Playwright or Postman. You will work closely with engineering, product and delivery teams to identify risks early, improve test coverage and ensure that integrations are reliable, traceable and ready for production.

• Own the end-to-end test strategy for data flows and integrations between Salesforce and the bespoke platform.
• Design and build automation frameworks from scratch using Cucumber, creating maintainable and reusable test assets.
• Deliver API and integration testing using Playwright or Postman across the orchestration layer and associated integration points.
• Validate data mapping, transformation, completeness and integrity throughout the end-to-end journey.
• Define test scenarios, acceptance criteria, quality gates and appropriate regression coverage.
• Investigate defects, support root-cause analysis and work with technical teams to drive issues through to resolution.
• Provide QA leadership while remaining closely involved in hands-on test design, automation and execution.
• Communicate quality risks, progress and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven experience leading QA activity within a complex platform transformation or systems integration programme.
• Strong hands-on experience creating automation frameworks with Cucumber.
• Practical API testing expertise using Playwright, Postman or a comparable toolset.
• A thorough understanding of integration testing, data validation and end-to-end quality assurance.
• Experience testing Salesforce integrations and bespoke platforms would be highly advantageous.
• Confident stakeholder management skills and the ability to set clear quality standards across multidisciplinary teams
