Data Migration Lead (Property Management System) - Hybrid/London - 6 Month Contract - Outside IR35

We are currently partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Data Migration Lead to support an upgrade of its Property Management System (MRI)

This is an excellent opportunity to lead the end-to-end data migration workstream on a large-scale business transformation programme. You'll be responsible for defining the migration strategy, ensuring data quality, and working closely with business and technical teams to successfully deliver the transition to the upgraded platform.

This is an initial 6-month contract operating Outside IR35, with a hybrid working arrangement in London.

What you will be doing:

• Lead the end-to-end data migration workstream for a major MRI Property Management system upgrade.
• Develop and own the data migration strategy, approach, roadmap and delivery plan.
• Assess existing data quality, identify cleansing requirements and define remediation activities.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure successful migration outcomes.
• Define data mapping, transformation and validation rules between Legacy and target systems.
• Coordinate data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) activities alongside technical teams.
• Oversee migration testing, reconciliation and business validation to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and manage migration risks, issues and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Establish governance and reporting to provide regular updates to senior stakeholders.
• Produce and maintain migration documentation, including mapping specifications, reconciliation reports.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience leading large-scale data migration projects from strategy through to delivery.
• Previous experience working on MRI Property Management systems, ideally MRI PMX (or similar platforms such as Horizon or Yardi).
• Strong understanding of data migration methodologies, ETL processes and data quality management.
• Experience defining data mapping, transformation and reconciliation processes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
