Business Analyst - IT Change & Transformation

Hybrid - 2 days on site.
Business Analyst to lead analysis across complex IT change and transformation initiatives with a specific focus on infrastructure and cloud technologies in the manufactoring sector
You will act as a trusted advisor, working with stakeholders to understand business needs, define requirements, shape solutions and ensure projects deliver measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end business analysis from discovery through to delivery.
- Gather, manage and trace requirements to business outcomes.
- Translate complex business problems into clear solutions and actionable insights.
- Support business cases, benefits analysis and impact assessments.
- Engage, influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Define functional and non-functional requirements, user stories and Gherkin acceptance criteria.
- Validate solution designs and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Coordinate BA activities across multiple workstreams, managing risks, dependencies and deliverables.
- Work with third-party suppliers and delivery partners to ensure requirements and outcomes are achieved.
About You
- Extensive experience in business analysis within complex IT change environments.
- Strong requirements engineering, process modelling, data analysis and solution evaluation skills.
- Experience working across Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience leading analysis on large or complex initiatives.
- Ability to understand the wider impact of change across systems, processes, data and operations.
- Recognised BCS or IIBA Business Analysis qualification above foundation level.
Experience within manufacturing, automotive or other complex operational environments is highly desirable, along with knowledge of cloud, infrastructure, integration, enterprise systems and digital transformation.
AI literacy and experience using AI tools to support analysis and documentation would also be advantageous.
