Retail Solution Architect

Rate: £500 - £600 Outside IR35
Location: 2 days per week on site - Birmingham
Duration: 6 months initial

We are looking for an experienced Retail Solution Architect to support a major transformation programme across a large multi-site retail estate.

This role will play a key part in shaping the architecture and design of several business-critical initiatives, ensuring new technology solutions integrate effectively across retail operations and customer channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead solution architecture and design across multiple retail locations.
• Support the implementation of a new home delivery platform.
• Support the implementation of a new hotel booking system.
• Drive EPOS modernisation initiatives.
• Guide the introduction of a new till system.
• Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to ensure solutions align with operational requirements and long term strategy.

What We're Looking For:

We are keen to speak with architects who have strong experience delivering technology solutions within retail environments.

Ideal experience includes:

• Retail technology architecture.
• Store systems and in store technology.
• EPOS platforms and modernisation programmes.
• Omnichannel retail solutions.
• Multi-site technology architecture and design.
• End to end solution design across complex retail estates.
