Oracle Healh Data Migration Test Lead at IT Works Health LTD, United Kingdom, £Contract Rate

We're supporting a leading NHS organisation as they progress through a major Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium) implementation and are looking for an experienced Oracle Health Data Migration Test Lead to take ownership of the testing strategy and execution for all data migration activities.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within a large-scale digital transformation programme, ensuring migrated clinical and operational data is accurate, complete and fit for go-live.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end testing activities for Oracle Health data migration.
• Develop and manage the Data Migration Test Strategy, Test Plans and Test Scripts.
• Coordinate multiple migration test cycles including SIT, UAT, Dress Rehearsals and Go-Live validation.
• Work closely with Data Migration Leads, Technical Teams, Oracle Health consultants and NHS operational stakeholders.
• Validate migrated patient, clinical and operational data against source systems.
• Manage defects through to resolution and provide regular reporting to programme leadership.
• Ensure all testing activities meet NHS governance and quality standards.
• Support cutover planning and provide assurance for migration readiness.

Essential Experience

• Proven experience as a Data Migration Test Lead on an Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium) implementation.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Health data structures and migration methodologies.
• Experience leading testing across large NHS EPR programmes.
• Excellent knowledge of System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Dress Rehearsal testing.
• Experience using defect management and test management tools.
• Ability to engage confidently with clinical, operational and technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, planning and communication skills.

Desirable

• Previous experience working on multiple Oracle Health implementations.
• SQL skills and experience validating migrated datasets.
• Experience supporting EPR Cutover and Go-Live activities.
• Knowledge of NHS data standards and clinical workflows.
