This is an exciting opportunity in the outsourced technology services sector for an experienced Amazon Connect Engineer to lead the transition from legacy telephony to advanced cloud contact centre solutions.

Join a project-focused environment, helping a large outsourcing business move from Avaya to Amazon Connect. This position demands both technical depth and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on delivering robust, scalable, and resilient cloud-based contact centre solutions.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather and analyse existing Avaya contact centre requirementsDesign, architect, and implement cloud-based contact centre solutions using Amazon ConnectCreate detailed technical documentation, high-level designs, and implementation roadmapsLead end-to-end deployment, including configuration, testing, and successful rolloutProvide best practice guidance on building scalable, resilient, and cost-effective architecturesCustomise features such as IVR, contact flows, and integrate with AWS and external systemsEnsure seamless integration with CRM tools, databases, and reporting systemsTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the build and deployment phases

Experience & SkillsProven experience designing and implementing Amazon Connect solutions, including Avaya migrationsSolid understanding of Amazon Connect features: contact flows, IVR, integrations, and reportingStrong background in contact centre technologies and hands-on work with Avaya systemsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, translating complex technical concepts for non-technical audiencesExperience with legacy and cloud-based call centre reporting and analytics tools
