Full Stack Developer - Outside IR35 at SR2 - Socially Responsible Recruitment, London, £425-£450 per day

Senior Full Stack Engineer | Outside IR35 | Remote

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a large-scale digital programme within the public sector. This role would suit an experienced engineer who can work across application development and cloud infrastructure within a modern, microservices-based environment.

You will contribute throughout the software delivery life cycle, building reliable digital services using TypeScript, Java and AWS. You'll work collaboratively with technical teams and stakeholders, taking ownership across Front End, Back End and DevOps activities.

• Design, build and maintain cloud-native applications and microservices.
• Develop Back End services using TypeScript, Node.js, Fastify and Java Spring Boot.
• Contribute to Front End development and integration activities.
• Build and optimise PostgreSQL databases and data integrations.
• Deploy and support services across AWS ECS and EKS environments.
• Develop infrastructure and delivery pipelines using Terraform and GitLab CI/CD.

• Strong commercial experience with TypeScript, Node.js and Fastify.
• Hands-on Java and Spring Boot development experience.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Experience deploying containerised services using AWS ECS and/or EKS.
• Strong Terraform and GitLab CI/CD skills.
• Experience working with cloud-native architectures and microservices.
• Ability to operate effectively across Front End, Back End and infrastructure disciplines.
• Strong stakeholder communication and collaborative working skills.

• Previous delivery experience within government or the wider public sector.
• Experience working in regulated or security-conscious environments.
• Familiarity with agile, multidisciplinary delivery teams.

• Contract role - 6 months
• IR35 Status: Outside IR35
• Rate: £425-£450p/d
• Location: Remote
