S2R are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support a major customer identity, consent and preference management programme. The role will focus on defining the end-to-end architecture across CIAM, Azure AD B2C/Entra External ID, authentication, federation and customer privacy capabilities. You will operate within a complex multi-supplier environment, so strong senior stakeholder engagement, supplier management and the ability to influence identity and platform design decisions will be essential.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the end-to-end solution architecture across CIAM, consent and preference management capabilities.
  • Design customer identity solutions using Azure AD B2C and Microsoft Entra External ID.
  • Define authentication, federation, registration, login and account recovery journeys.
  • Translate business, customer and regulatory requirements into scalable identity architecture.
  • Design integrations between identity services, customer platforms and third-party systems.
  • Define consent capture, preference management and customer data-sharing solution patterns.
  • Produce solution architecture artefacts, design options, technical decisions and roadmaps.
  • Coordinate suppliers, delivery teams and senior stakeholders to maintain architectural alignment.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience working as a Solution Architect across large-scale customer identity programmes.
  • Strong experience with Azure AD B2C and/or Microsoft Entra External ID.
  • Deep understanding of CIAM architecture and customer identity life cycle management.
  • Strong knowledge of authentication and federation standards, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and SAML.
  • Experience designing consent and preference management solutions.
  • Strong understanding of privacy-by-design, GDPR and customer data requirements.
  • Experience integrating identity platforms with enterprise and customer-facing applications.
  • Strong senior stakeholder and supplier management experience within complex multi-vendor environments.
