Senior Software Engineer (Contract) - Remote must be UK based
6 months contract Outside IR35

We're seeking a Contract Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and delivery of enterprise software across cloud, web, and AI-driven development (Github Copilot, Claude).
The Software Engineer will provide hands-on technical leadership, modernise legacy platforms, define solution architecture, and deliver scalable cloud-native applications using the Microsoft technology stack.
Key skills:

• .NET, ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework, MVC
• Azure (Functions, App Services, Storage, AI, Azure DevOps)
• SQL Server (expert level)
• Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, jQuery
• CI/CD, microservices, clean code, AI-assisted development (GitHub Copilot, Claude)

Core Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end architecture for enterprise applications.
• Lead the design and delivery of cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Drive modern engineering practices including CI/CD, clean code, automated testing, and feature-driven development.
• Modernise legacy applications into scalable, cloud-first platforms.
• Lead the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contract .Net developer with a passion for AI-driven development using Github Copilot or Claude .
