Head of Data Governance at Hanson Regan Ltd, London, 6 Months, £Contract Rate

Hanson Regan are currently recruiting for a Head of Data Governance on a contract role outside IR35

Key Responsibilities:

Enhance and implement a comprehensive data governance strategy that aligns with the firm's business and strategic goals, and regulatory requirements.

Define data quality standards and metrics and oversee a development framework leveraging a best-in-class data model empowered by Snowflake Cortex (AI/LLM).

Oversee data quality assessments and remediation efforts to ensure high data accuracy and reliability, using cloud-based technologies (Snowflake, Informatica, Jira) and LLMs.

Oversee data acquisition processes, ensuring data is sourced, validated, and integrated effectively into a governed data warehouse (Snowflake).

Enhance and implement a master data management strategy to ensure consistency, accuracy, and control of key business data.

Lead and manage a team of business data stewards to ensure data governance policies and practices are implemented effectively. Provide guidance and support to data stewards on their roles and responsibilities.

Lead the Data Governance working group of senior leaders to align strategy, drive adoption, and ensure effective oversight of enterprise data governance initiatives.
