Security Architect - AWS at Fruition Group, Multiple Locations, £Contract Rate

Job Title: AWS Security Architect

Contract: 6 Month Contract Outside IR35

Rate: Competitive Daily Rate

Location: UK - Remote

Fruition are working in partnership with a global, technology first organisation seeking an experienced Security Architect to support a major cloud security transformation programme.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong AWS security expertise to assess current controls, improve security maturity, and deliver security enhancements across a range of workstreams.

What you'll be doing:

• Assessing the current AWS security architecture and designing improvements to strengthen security posture
• Defining and enhancing security controls across encryption, Data Loss Prevention and image hardening
• Producing security architecture, standards, and recommendations aligned to NIST best practice
• Designing security governance and change management processes across cloud environments
• Providing technical guidance to engineering teams and supporting the delivery of security uplift initiatives
• Working across multiple workstreams, adapting priorities as programme requirements evolve

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Security Architect within AWS cloud environments
• Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS security services and cloud security best practices
• Experience with NIST or similar security frameworks
• Knowledge of DLP, encryption, and security hardening
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced contract environment
