Google Cloud Platform Engineer/GCP Data Engineer at Thomas Ren Associates, United Kingdom, 3 Months, £Contract Rate

GCP Data Engineer needed for a major finance data transformation programme. You'll build scalable GCP data pipelines, integrate enterprise platforms and help deliver modern cloud-based analytics capability.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering scalable data ingestion and ETL/ELT pipelines on Google Cloud Platform. Working as part of a wider finance data transformation programme, you will support the integration of large-scale enterprise data from platforms such as Oracle, Workday and procurement systems, while ensuring data quality, governance, performance and reliability are maintained throughout.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable Data Engineering experience, strong hands-on Google Cloud Platform skills and a solid background in BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, Composer or Pub/Sub. You will also bring excellent SQL, strong ETL/ELT pipeline development experience and exposure to enterprise application data integration, with finance data, Agile delivery and Python experience highly desirable.
