Our Consultancy client are looking for an experienced Copilot AI Solutions Consultant to deliver customer-focused, Microsoft-funded AI engagements.

This is not a role focused on building highly complex enterprise AI platforms. Instead, you will lead customers from initial discovery through to solution handover, identifying valuable AI opportunities and creating practical Proof of Concept solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio.

You will combine strong consulting and stakeholder-management skills with hands-on Copilot Studio experience, helping customers understand how Microsoft AI can improve their processes and deliver measurable business value.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be equally comfortable facilitating a customer workshop and building a working agent in Copilot Studio. You will be consultative, commercially aware and able to explain AI concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, including building, configuring and deploying Proof of Concept agents.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Chat and the wider Microsoft AI ecosystem.
  • Experience configuring knowledge sources, topics, prompts, instructions and conversation flows.
  • Experience using standard Microsoft connectors and integrating with Microsoft 365 services.
  • Working knowledge of the Power Platform, including Power Automate and Dataverse.
  • Understanding of agent governance, Responsible AI, security and Microsoft best practices.
  • Strong business-process mapping and workflow-analysis skills.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into practical AI solutions.
  • Ability to produce high-level solution designs and recommend appropriate technical approaches.
  • Strong workshop facilitation, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test and improve AI agents based on customer feedback.
  • A realistic understanding of AI capabilities and limitations, including when AI may not be the right solution.
  • Experience producing technical documentation, solution overviews and handover materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate customer discovery workshops to understand business processes, challenges and opportunities for AI.
  • Map business processes and identify suitable use cases for Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio.
  • Translate business requirements into pragmatic AI solution designs and high-level architectures.
  • Design, build and configure Proof of Concept agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
  • Configure agent topics, prompts, instructions, knowledge sources and conversation flows.
  • Integrate agents with Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint, Teams, Outlook and OneDrive.
  • Demonstrate solutions to customers, capture feedback and refine agents accordingly.
  • Produce high-level solution designs, implementation recommendations and handover documentation.
  • Deliver customer showcases, knowledge-transfer sessions and solution handovers.
  • Work collaboratively with AI Architects, AI Adoption Consultants and wider delivery teams.
  • Identify technical risks, dependencies and opportunities throughout each engagement.
