.Net Developer/Dot Net Developer; Security cleared, Azure, Rest API
Active SC, Three days per month work from Taunton, Contract, Rate: £550/day (Outside IR35)
Required Skills & Experience;
- Strong hands-on experience with C# and modern .NET (.NET Framework/.NET Core/.NET).
- Good experience developing applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Azure PaaS services such as:
- App Services
- Azure Functions
- Storage Accounts
- Service Bus
- Azure Key Vault
- Experience implementing REST APIs and service integrations.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and software engineering best practices.
- Experience with Git-based source control workflows.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Experience working with GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools.
- Good understanding of cloud-native application design principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Microsoft Azure services.
- Build high-quality, secure, and maintainable solutions using C# and modern .NET technologies.
- Implement features and enhancements in accordance with functional and non-functional requirements.
- Contribute to cloud-native solution development following established architectural patterns.
- Participate in code reviews and implement feedback to maintain coding standards and best practices.
- Utilize Git and GitHub-based workflows for source code management.
- Leverage GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity and code quality.
- Collaborate with Lead Developers, Architects, Product Owners, Testers, and DevOps Engineers throughout the development life cycle.
- Support development of automated unit tests.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across development, test, and production environments.
- Maintain technical documentation within SharePoint, Wiki, Git, or other approved repositories.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations for continuous improvement of engineering practices and development processes.
