Programme Test Manager - Cyber - Technology Transformation

📍 Location: Remote (occasional travel to Cambridge)

💰 Rate: Up to £450/day Outside IR35

📄 Contract: Initial contract with extension potential

We're supporting a FTSE100 organisation on a multi-million-pound technology transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Test Manager to lead testing across a complex enterprise delivery. Ideally you have experience within the Cyber Secuiry space.

You'll own the programme-wide testing strategy, coordinating testing across multiple projects, suppliers and business teams to ensure high-quality releases and successful deployments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the programme Test Strategy, Test Plans and overall test schedule.
• Coordinate System, Integration, UAT, Operational and Performance Testing across multiple workstreams.
• Manage testing activities, dependencies and readiness with delivery teams, suppliers and business stakeholders.
• Oversee defect management, including triage, reporting and resolution.
• Produce test dashboards, status reports and Test Exit Reports.
• Ensure test evidence meets agreed entry and exit criteria.
• Provide assurance to programme governance and support Go/No-Go decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement across the programme testing function.

Required Skills

• Proven experience leading testing on large-scale technology transformation programmes.
• Strong background in Test Strategy, planning and test governance.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects, third-party suppliers and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent defect management and test reporting experience.
• Strong understanding of System, Integration, UAT, Operational and Performance Testing.
• Ability to provide release assurance and Go/No-Go recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
