Location: London
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2-3 days per week onsite
Contract: Outside IR35
Day Rate: £300 - £350 per day (Outside IR35)

The Role

Endeavour Recruitment is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a consultancy delivering digital transformation and software implementation projects across the UK Social Housing sector.

Working with Housing Associations and other housing organisations, you will play a key role in gathering business requirements, improving business processes, and supporting the successful delivery of enterprise software solutions. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that solutions meet operational needs while supporting wider transformation initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced contractor with a strong background in Social Housing, software delivery, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
Facilitate workshops, interviews and discovery sessions with business stakeholders.
Produce Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories, process maps, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
Analyse current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
Work closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, Developers, Solution Architects and Test Teams throughout the project life cycle.
Support software implementation, configuration, migration and integration projects.
Ensure business requirements are translated into clear technical deliverables.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution and business sign-off.
Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Manage multiple workstreams while ensuring successful project delivery.

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the Social Housing, Housing Association or Local Authority sector.
Strong experience delivering software implementation or digital transformation projects.
Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
Experience producing business and functional documentation.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience working within Agile environments.
Excellent analytical, communication and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a client-facing environment.
