AI Engineer - Python - LLMs - RAG - Azure required for an urgent start.
The AI Engineer - Python - LLMs - RAG - Azure will be working for a well-funded AI technology company backed by a major global technology partner and a sovereign wealth fund, building production AI applications used by investment and research teams across financial services.

AI Engineer - Python - LLMs - RAG - Azure key skills:

Strong Python Back End engineering experience including FastAPI, WebSockets/SSE and scalable API development.
Experience building and deploying production LLM applications, agentic workflows and advanced RAG systems.
Strong understanding of chunking strategies, retrieval optimisation, hierarchical retrieval and embedding model selection.
Experience designing AI architectures and taking AI systems from concept through to production.
Hands-on experience with Azure AI services including Azure OpenAI, AI Search, AI Foundry and Document Intelligence.
Experience deploying and operating production workloads using Docker, Kubernetes (AKS/EKS), monitoring and CI/CD.
Strong software engineering and systems design experience building scalable, reliable Back End platforms.
