Business Data & Process Lead


Whitehall Resources require a Business Data & Process Lead to work with a key client on a 12 month contract.


*This role will require on site work in Cambridge, ideally 2 days per week on site.


*Outside IR35.


Business Data & Process Lead


Typical Accountabilities:

* Support the Global R&D deployment workstream, ensuring adherence to project timelines and objectives

* Develop and maintain a clear roadmap addressing both immediate priorities and long-term goals.

* Establish solid understanding of the technology landscape and analyse existing processes to identify the gaps and opportunities using previous working experience/knowledge.

* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (including GPPM, finance, IT teams) to capture their requirements and integrate them into the project scope, defining the relevant end-to-end business processes and data flows.

* Translate business needs into clear, structured requirements for technical teams.

* Support technical ideation, development and build, including:

* Alignment on control records, entity relationships, and persistent identifiers for key data elements

* Working with data product owners to define data products, including source-to-target mappings and required transformations

* Supporting SIT, UAT, and change management activities to ensure smooth delivery into production

* Lead workshops and meetings to collect feedback and devise appropriate action plans.

* Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.


Essential Qualifications:

* Considerable experience and exposure to business systems, data platforms (e.g. Snowflake), and those specific to R&D e.g. Planisware (PLANIT)

* Experience in ERP transformation and Business Improvement, using SAP/ experience in technical data roles

* Strong business analysis experience and knowledge of analytics.

* Ability to lead across geographies and cultures.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline


Desirable Qualifications:

* Regulatory experience, e.g. GxP, SOx.

* Bio-Tech, Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences experience.

* Experience in large scale, complex & multi-year projects.

* Workshop Management.
