Solution Architect - CRM | Outside IR35 | Remote

We're looking for an experienced Solution Architect to support a major transformation programme focused on the transition to a new CRM platform and associated contact centre services. This role will play a key part in assessing the current technology landscape, defining the target architecture and producing the technical documentation required to support a smooth migration and implementation.

The Role

Working closely with technical and business stakeholders, you'll take ownership of the architecture across the existing estate, producing clear as-is and to-be designs while considering integration, supplier dependencies and migration strategy. This is a design-led role focused on creating a robust transitional architecture that enables future CRM adoption with minimal operational disruption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce current-state and target-state architecture documentation across CRM, contact centre and integration landscapes.
  • Develop technical diagrams including data flows, sequence diagrams and integration patterns.
  • Assess supplier interfaces, technical dependencies, risks and assumptions to support delivery planning.
  • Define non-functional requirements, environment models, test and assurance approaches, and support technical governance activities.
  • Develop migration and cutover strategies, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and technical handover.

Essential

  • Proven experience delivering solution architecture for CRM migration or transformation programmes.
  • Strong background designing technology solutions supporting contact centre environments.
  • Experience producing architecture artefacts including current-state and target-state designs, integration diagrams and technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of systems integration, APIs and data flows across complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience planning technical migrations, cutover activities and transition strategies.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to lead architecture through governance and design assurance processes.

Desirable

  • Experience working within the public sector or other highly regulated environments.
  • Exposure to modern CRM platforms r.
  • Knowledge of contact centre technologies
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
