Job Title: Telecommunications Engineer
Day Rate: £200-225/day (OUTSIDE IR35)
Location: Hybrid in Glasgow
Contract Length: 3 years
Telecommunications Engineer - Role & Responsibilities
- Install, commission, maintain and fault-find a range of telecommunications and network infrastructure across customer sites.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance, upgrades and repairs on communications systems to ensure maximum reliability and performance.
- Conduct site surveys, testing, diagnostics and commissioning activities, completing all associated technical documentation accurately.
- Work closely with customers, project managers and engineering teams to deliver projects safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company procedures, health & safety legislation and industry best practice.
Telecommunications Engineer - Required Experience
- Proven experience working as a Telecommunications Engineer, Communications Engineer, Network Engineer or similar field-based engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure, including fibre optic networks, voice, data or industrial communications systems.
- Experience of installation, commissioning, testing and fault diagnosis within customer or critical infrastructure environments.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel throughout Scotland as required.
