Senior Front End Developer (Contract)

Location: East London (Hybrid)

Duration: Initial 6 month contract with strong potential to extend to 12 months

Rate: Competitive Day Rate (Outside IR35 if applicable)

Our client is a fast growing Digital / e commerce business based in central East London, and they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Front End Developer on a contract basis to help strengthen the existing engineering team.

The Role

Working alongside an experienced development team, you'll be responsible for building and enhancing modern, responsive web applications while collaborating closely with product, design, and backend teams.

This is a hybrid position, with the expectation of attending the Shoreditch office a few days each week.

Required Skills

• React.js
• TypeScript
• Cypress
• AJAX
• Version Control (Git)
• Continuous Integration (CI)

Experience Required

• 4 to 12 years of commercial Front End Development experience
• Strong experience developing modern React applications
• Experience writing clean, maintainable and scalable TypeScript
• Experience with automated testing using Cypress
• Good understanding of version control and CI pipelines
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
