SharePoint Online Consultant - Fully Remote - 6 Month Contract

Daily rate: £350–£400 per day

Our client is currently looking for an experienced SharePoint Online Consultant to support the delivery of a modern intranet platform on a 6-month, fully remote contract.

This role will focus on building a content-led, search-first SharePoint Online intranet, with structured governance, strong usability, and iterative stakeholder engagement throughout the project.

The successful consultant will be confident working with business stakeholders, running workshops, challenging requirements where needed, and configuring SharePoint Online to deliver a scalable and user-friendly intranet solution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure SharePoint Online sites, pages, templates, and navigation
• Design and implement structured content models
• Configure and optimise the SharePoint search experience
• Build light Power Automate workflows
• Engage with stakeholders to gather, refine, and challenge requirements
• Support testing, rollout, documentation, and handover

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong SharePoint Online consulting experience
• Proven experience delivering SharePoint intranets
• Good understanding of content structuring, metadata, navigation, and search optimisation
• Experience with Power Automate for light workflow automation
• Comfortable leading workshops and engaging with stakeholders
• Strong communication skills and the ability to challenge requirements constructively
