Senior UX Designer

3-month contract

£400–£450/day - Outside IR35

London (Hybrid, 2 days in the office)

We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer to join an agency on a 3-month outside IR35 contract, working on an employee-facing product for a financial services client.

This is a good fit for someone who enjoys complex workflows, internal tools and designing for users who need to complete important tasks quickly, clearly and with minimal friction.

You’ll work closely with product, technology, business stakeholders and internal users to understand pain points, map journeys and turn complex requirements into clear, usable experiences.

What you’ll be doing

• Mapping workflows, journeys and pain points
• Creating flows, wireframes, prototypes and UX documentation
• Working closely with product, tech and business stakeholders
• Testing ideas with users and iterating based on feedback
• Simplifying complex internal processes

You’ll be a good fit if you:

• Have strong UX experience across complex products or services
• Are comfortable with employee-facing, operational or workflow-heavy tools
• Can bring structure to ambiguous requirements
• Are confident working with stakeholders and technical teams
• Can explain your thinking clearly and make sensible trade-offs

Financial services experience would be useful, but experience in similarly complex or regulated environments would also be relevant.
