Head of Operations, Technology & Finance (Contract – Outside IR35)

London (Mayfair) | 6 Months Initial | Immediate Start

I’m working with a boutique private credit manager undergoing a period of transformation and growth, who are looking to hire an experienced operations leader on an interim basis.

This is a high-impact, broad remit role reporting directly to the CEO, covering investment operations, finance oversight, and technology/vendor management.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee investment operations (team of 3) and drive process improvement
• Review and evolve the operating model (incl. potential outsourcing)
• Manage outsourced IT providers and assess technology strategy
• Oversee finance function and ensure robust reporting
• Act as senior escalation point across ops, vendors, and projects
• Support broader COO initiatives (incl. office relocation)

Ideal Profile

• Senior operations generalist from private markets / private credit / alternatives
• Experience in small or mid-sized asset managers
• Strong vendor management & outsourced model exposure
• Comfortable operating across ops, tech oversight, and finance
• Commercial, pragmatic, and hands-on
• Confident engaging with senior stakeholders
