Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced SC Cleared Solution Architect to join a high-profile programme delivering critical digital and transformation solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a large-scale project within a secure environment, shaping architecture and driving strategic technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and design end-to-end solution architectures aligned to business and technical requirements
• Lead architectural governance, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices
• Engage with stakeholders across business and technology teams to translate requirements into solution designs
• Produce high-quality architecture documentation (HLDs, LLDs, design artefacts)
• Support delivery teams to ensure solutions are implemented in line with agreed architecture
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies

Required Skills & Experience

• Active SC Clearance (essential)
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect on complex programmes
• Strong background across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Experience with microservices, APIs, and modern integration patterns
• Solid understanding of architecture frameworks (eg, TOGAF)
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience delivering within Agile environments

Desirable

• Experience working within public sector or secure environments
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with data architecture and security best practices
