Ink Search are working with a large and prestigious, Global Commodities Trader based in Central London. They have a huge modernisation programme across their technology department and in support of this, are about to start recruiting a contract Portfolio Manager who can manage a large upgrade/cloud migration to the latest version of Jira. The successful candidate will not be a strong Project Manager with experience of using Jira, they will be a strong Project Manager/Portfolio Manager with experience of managing the implementation of Jira for Project Management purposes - preferably including a migration from the Jira on-prem solution to a new Jira Cloud Solution. Whats crucial in this role is the analysis and definition of the existing Jira estate (contains 400+ projects), a large scale clean up of existing data/project reporting capability and ensure the new Jira Cloud solution is populated with effective, accurate data that drives project efficiencies rather than project lag. You'll have excellent stakeholder management, deep project and programme management experience, a keen eye for detail and a delivery focussed mindset. Experience delivering a large scale Jira implementation/cloud migration is the central component of the role, not delivering projects and using Jira as a project management tool. Experience with a similar project within an Investment Bank, Commodities Trading firm or complex financial services business with a large, complex, multi-site IT organisation is essential. This is a Senior, high visibility role anf requires a candidate with all of the required experience listed above.
