Overview

This role sits within a Global Data & Systems function and is a key hire for a fast-paced, nine month data modernisation programme. The programme is re-platforming the organisation's data and reporting estate onto Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and a modern Azure-based integration stack, while retiring Legacy MSSQL warehouses. The programme spans multiple international markets (UK, US, Hong Kong, France) and operates at high pace with significant executive visibility.

The Role

The Integrations Engineer is hands-on in building and operating integration solutions across a modern Azure stack. You will work with services such as APIM, Logic Apps, Function Apps, Service Bus, and Event Grid to connect enterprise SaaS systems (including HR, finance, POS, and E-commerce platforms) into data, finance, and operational systems. All new integrations are being built on Azure. There is also a Legacy Mulesoft estate currently being phased out; you will support its stability while helping migrate flows onto Azure.

Key Responsibilities

Develop APIs within Azure APIM, including OpenAPI specifications, policies, security, and rate limiting
Build event-driven integrations leveraging Service Bus, Event Grid, and Functions
Translate requirements into robust, production-ready integration flows
Support migration away from a Legacy Mulesoft estate
Monitor integrations using Application Insights and Log Analytics; troubleshoot and resolve issues
Participate in on-call rotation for integration incidents
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions)
Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies
Document integrations clearly for operational support and knowledge sharing
