AWS Data/DevOps Engineer (Outside IR35/ Full Remote) at Tact, Manchester Area, £800 per day

AWS Data/DevOps Engineer | Fully Remote | Up to £800 per day | Outside IR35

Brand new contract with an AI/ML start-up approaching a critical go-live phase. Initial 6-week engagement with strong potential for extension.

The role will be a mix of hands-on engineering and architecture, focused on improving and optimising the company's real-time data platform ahead of launch. A large part of the work will involve reviewing and enhancing their existing Kafka, Flink, and Kubernetes estate, helping ensure it is scalable, reliable, and production-ready.

For this contract, you'll need experience with:

• AWS EKS
• Kafka
• Flink (or equivalent real-time stream processing technologies)
• Kubernetes
• Python or Java
• Real-time data pipelines

The client can move quickly, the interview process is a single stage, and they're looking for someone who can start immediately.
