Field/Project Engineer (Telecom) - Contract Outside IR35 - Scotland (Remote with occasional travel) at Cactus IT Solutions UK Ltd, Scotland, 6 Months, £Contract Rate

Field Engineers Skill Set:
The candidate should be flexible in supporting first-line assurance activities on a 24x7x365 basis, while adhering to agreed contractual SLA targets. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for reporting all relevant information and updates to the client's service support desk.

• Installation of Networks & equipment (Commtel/SDH/PDH/Radio/Xtran)
• Excellent knowledge of routing switching and data networking
• IP Networking (Wan, LAN, MPLS)
• Experience in maintaining monitoring and troubleshooting networks and systems
• Proven track record in the installation and support of DC Charger, PDH, SDH, Comtel, Microwave radio technology's DC & AC experienced.
• Knowledge of Cisco & Alcatel products.
• LAN & WAN Internetworking skills

Project Engineer Position Skillset:

Proven experience in monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network and system environments.

Strong background in IP Networking, including CCNA-level knowledge, WAN, LAN, and MPLS.

Hands-on experience with Nokia platforms, including Nokia SAR-H and Nokia NFM-P.

Excellent understanding of routing, switching, and data networking principles.

Experience working with XTran technology.

Proficient in using Microsoft Visio for network and technical diagramming.
