WA consultants are now recruiting for an experienced Software Automation and Test Engineer to join a leading engineering organisation delivering cutting-edge Embedded software solutions.

This role will focus on the implementation, integration, and testing phases of the full software life cycle, supporting the validation and verification of Embedded software systems within a highly technical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute automated test solutions for Embedded software
• Support software integration, verification, and validation activities
• Work across the full software development life cycle from implementation through to testing
• Analyse and diagnose software and communication issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure software quality and performance
• Support fault finding, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong background in Automated Testing
• Experience with Python Scripting and test automation
• Embedded software testing experience
• Diagnostic and fault-finding experience
• CAN communication protocols
• CAPL Scripting experience
• Experience carrying out FMEA activities

Desirable Experience:

• Reverse Engineering experience
