Workplace Automation and Identity Specialist (outside IR35) at Gravitas Recruitment Group Ltd, City of London, £550-£675 per day

A leading banking organisation is looking to engage a Workplace Automation & Identity Specialist to support the optimisation and automation of internal technology processes.

City of London (Hybrid - 2 days onsite)

Duration: 6 months Rate: £550-£675 per day (outside of IR35)

This role will focus on improving efficiency across user life cycle management, endpoint provisioning, and access control through scalable automation solutions.

Core Experience Required:

* Demonstrated experience delivering automation initiatives across workplace or IT operations

* Strong background working with automation or orchestration tools

* In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud-based environments

* Proven experience integrating systems via APIs

* Hands-on experience with SCIM provisioning and Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations

* Solid understanding of identity and access life cycle management

* Experience streamlining Joiner, Mover and Leaver (JML) processes

* Expertise in endpoint provisioning and standard build processes

* Track record of automating software deployment and patching workflows

* Ability to assess existing processes quickly and implement effective, scalable improvements

Nice to Have

* Previous experience within banking, financial services, or regulated industries

* Exposure to ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management

* Familiarity with identity platforms such as Okta

* Experience working with Infrastructure as Code or configuration management tools

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys driving efficiency through automation and delivering tangible improvements across workplace technology environments.
