Observability Platform Engineer/Contract/Remote/Outside IR35 £550/FS at Boost Talent, Fully Remote, 6 Months, £550 per day

Boost Talent are working with a Leading financial services client to recruit a Observability Engineer for an initial 6 months. This is a fully remote role.

The role will require you to enhance monitoring, reliability, and visibility across cloud-native platforms, Design and implement observability across distributed systems, Improve logging, metrics, tracing (Datadog, OpenTelemetry) - Improve logging, metrics.

For the role we are seeking candidates who have the below experience:

• Observability/Platform Engineering/SRE background
• Datadog (or similar monitoring tools)
• Microsoft Azure (cloud-native services)
• Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines)
• AKS and containerised environments
• OpenTelemetry (distributed tracing)
• .NET application monitoring
• Strong knowledge of logging, metrics, tracing frameworks
• Complex production environments
• Financial services/regulated environments (Desirable)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM) (Desirable)
• Microservices (Desirable)
• SRE principles (Desirable)
